AuthorHello, and welcome to our class blog! My name is Nicole Snyder, and I will be your child's EA this year. This will be my tenth year teaching, and I absolutely love my job! There is nothing quite as fun as working with children all day, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Children are natural learners with an innate sense of curiosity that should be nurtured, and encouraged. My philosophy is that education should be engaging, interesting, rigorous, and relevant, because every child is worth the extra effort. I have a Masters degree in Education, a Bachelors degree in Anthropology, and a Multiple Subject California Teaching Credential. On a more personal note, I am happily married to my best friend, and have three wonderful kids that are involved in band, soccer, volleyball, cheer, orchestra, guitar and various other activities. I understand what it means to have other obligations and responsibilities, so although we all lead very busy lives I believe that if we work together we can make a difference in our students' lives! ArchivesNo Archives "I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities." ~Dr. Seuss
“Do not train a child to learn by force or harshness; but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so that you may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar bent of the genius of each.” ~Plato
